Super Sometimes sign to Pure Noise Records and share new single “Say Something Now”

It’s been a while since we’ve had fresh pop punk bands, at least ones that don’t shy away from goofiness and instead play straight-up, shameless mall pop punk with MTV-ready music videos (you know, if MTV still played music videos). San Diego’s Super Sometimes definitely fits that bill.

Now, the band has announced their signing with Pure Noise Records, and has shared a new single and video for “Say Something Now,” a true throwback to classic blink-182 videos (who they are a hometown with!)

Listen and watch below:

You have got kickflips, SoCal vibes, farting instruments, a hunt for a swindling wizard, fake mustaches, unison shouted “yeahs!”, and maybe most notably, the band literally wearing their influences on their sleeves. Well, actually, on their T-shirts: blink-182, Jimmy Eat World, Pearl Jam, and The Starting Line all make appearances throughout. Grab a California burrito (Cali-B) and tune in.

What do you think?
