Steve Albini estate begins selling the late producer's archives

This past Wednesday marked one year since the death of musician and recording engineer. Steve Albini. The Shellac and Big Black founder's estate began a sale of his archives on Friday, May 9. The collection includes CDs, vinyl, and various examples of musical memorabilia.

A new website, Steve Albini's Closet, hosts the items for sale. The "About" page notes that "all items purchased are accompanied by a Certificate of Authenticity from the collection’s administrator, Byron Coley, and the proceeds are directed towards Steve’s estate."

The site adds that listings are updated each week, and some of the material will be sold through eBay and Discogs.
