Split Chain unveil punky cover of "I Don't Wanna Be Me" by Type O Negative

So far 2024 has been a whirlwind for nu-metal five-piece Split Chain. From newly signing to Epitaph Records to making their way around the festival circuit with performances at 2000 Trees and Outbreak, and soon to embark on a tour supporting Fleshwater – it's fair to say the group is quickly propelling into the spotlight.

Today the band has shared an electrifying cover of Type O Negative's gothic anthem "I Don't Wanna Be Me". Doubling down on the original, Split Chain experiment with fish-eye-lens visuals, video game typography and snippets of their live shows for the music video.

Adding an innovative twist to the original, the group bring their charismatic energy to life through thrashing guitars and high-definition production.

Additionally, it was recently announced that the band will be one of three support slots for Silverstein's opening run of 2025 North America tour dates.

Today's release comes ahead of the band's forthcoming, sold-out shows in support of Fleshwater.
