The quirky new-wave duo Sparks is back with a brand new single promoting their upcoming album, MAD!, out May 23rd on Transgressive Records. The new track, “JanSport Backpack”, is their second single promoting the record, following “Do Things My Own Way”, which came out earlier this year.

MAD! will be Spark’s 28th studio album since forming in 1972. Across their extensive discography they are most well-known for the hit, “This Town Ain’t Big Enough For Both Of Us” off their 1974 album, Kimono My House. The band is setting off on a 14-date tour through Japan and Europe to promote the record, with additional dates to be announced soon.
