American metal icons Slayer have announced a special, one-night-only, East Coast headlining gig in addition to their handful of festival appearances set for this summer.
Hosted by WWE superstar Damian Priest, the band's headlining performance, scheduled for Saturday, Sept. 20 at Hersheypark Stadium in Hershey, Pennsylvania, is said to be their only U.S. East Coast gig of the year.
Priest, a well-known metal head and longtime Slayer fan, uses a finishing move called "South of Heaven", named after the band's 1988 song of the same name, and guitarist Kerry King provided the guitar licks for the wrestler's "Rise for the Night" theme song.
The one-night-only performance brings together quite the lineup, including several bands playing legendary albums in full.
Cavalera, featuring former Sepultura founders Max and Igor Cavalera, is performing their former band's Chaos A.D. album, while Exodus is performing their classic 1984 debut Bonded By Blood in full.
The full lineup is below:

Knocked Loose
Suicidal Tendencies
