Rapper and YouTuber Scru Face Jean has dropped an incendiary diss on streamer and hip-hop journalist DJ Akademiks. Following his recent allegations concerning his indecent comments towards a 15-year-old streamer, Scru Face Jean has taken it upon himself to call out the controversial figure. "The AkaDiddler strikes again," remarks the rapper in its opening line.

After publishing a video on Akademiks' many 'weird cases,' Scru Face Jean has decided to take a different approach, a diss record. "AkaDiddy" details the many allegations of Akademiks and Jean's disgust on the streamer's behavior over a chopped-up soul sample, à la "Meet the Grahams." The title refers to rap mogul P Diddy, who has become known for his many sex crimes and stands as a symbol for the many abusive powerful men in the rap and music industry. The diss covers Akademiks' recent sexual comments to the minor on Twitch, as well as the countless other misdoings over his career.
Among the many instances, Jean hammers down on Akademiks' troubling past with sexual comments around minors and his history of alleged sexual assault. He includes a reference to Akademik's sexual comments about internet personality Bhad Bhabie when she was a minor, as well as his association with problematic figures like Drake and 6ix9ine who have their set of lawsuits and allegations. "And Tekashi in your posse but I'm cool with that / I expect trash to be around a sewer rat." 6ix9ine, of course, is a rat with a troubled past with minors as well.
Jean also alludes to Akademiks' allegations levied by his former partner Fauziya Abashe, who claims she was assaulted multiple times by him and other men in his home when she was unconscious: "I hate it had to be this way / 'Til I think of what would Ziya say." Ak was later sued for alleged rape and defamation. These allegations and lawsuits have been known to the public for several years, and Jean is questioning why people are still letting Akademiks around. Even Kendrick Lamar described him as "compromised."
The song concludes with an audio recording of Akademiks and his conversation with the 15-year-old, his infamous comments around the age of consent at college, and a clip of Nispey Hussle addressing Ak: "we just gotta let him self destruct, 'cause he is on the path."
Scru Face Jean took to Twitter to say why he takes the Akademiks allegations so intensely. He says that he has people close to him who have been abused as kids, and as he grows more popular, the more he realizes this is a bigger issue. "Now that I'm here I'm not lettin up on these predators," he says. Akademiks is dealing with a lot right now: a Twitch ban, a rapid decline in YouTube subscribers, and now, a diss record by one of the most popular hip-hop YouTubers.
