Sabrina Carpenter’s gifts just keep coming after a chart-topping year, with her holiday special A Nonsense Christmas slated to premier this December 6th on Netflix.
After a breakout summer with her debut album Short N’ Sweet hitting #1 on Billboard’s 200™ chart - comfortably sitting at the top spot for three weeks - Carpenter has announced her winter plans with a musical variety special. A Nonsense Christmas will arrive just in time for the holidays, and in a similar fashion to fellow singer and collaborator Kacey Musgraves, who released her own Christmas show through Amazon in 2019. Carpenter's special will premier at 9 p.m. EST, showcasing traditional holiday songs as well as work from her Christmas-themed EP, fruitcake.
In their official announcement this Thursday (Sept. 19), Netflix mentioned “unexpected duets and comedic guests you will not want to miss”. Also announced today was Carpenter’s upcoming appearance on Christina Aguilera’s 25th Anniversary Project, releasing through Spotify this September 23rd through - the very same day Carpenter’s Short N’ Sweet tour kicks off in Columbus, OH.
Carpenter will help produce A Nonsense Christmas through her own company At Last Productions, alongside OBB Pictures. OBB Media founder and CEO Michael D. Ratner spoke to Netflix about the upcoming production, stating:

A Nonsense Christmas will premiere December 6th, 2024 at 9 p.m. EST, via Netflix.
