Rocky Horror Picture Show celebrates 50th anniversary with deluxe vinyl release, 4K rerelease

Time to do the Time Warp again!

On September 26, 1975, The Rocky Horror Picture Show debuted in theaters, beginning a long and winding history of critical dismissal, cult following adoration, cultural reappraisal, and midnight showings galore. And now the film – starring Tim Curry, Susan Sarandon, and Barry Bostwick – is celebrating its 50th anniversary with a deluxe vinyl release and a 4K HDR release in theaters and on Blu-Ray & digital.

Releasing via Ode Records, the original film soundtrack is out now on heavyweight 180g red-in-gold vinyl, with a gold-foil jacket, and "never-before-seen photos and production diary excerpts from producer Richard Hartley."

You can order a copy of the record here or here.

The film has had 4K theatrical showings over the past month, and the remaster is now out on physical media and digital, which you can grab here or at local retailers.
