Robyn debuted new songs live and played Times Square on NYE for CNN

Dan Weiss

Anderson Cooper and Andy Cohen love to get silly and throw a CNN party annually on New Year's Eve, and to end 2025 they got dance-pop icon Robyn to perform just after 9pm.

In between two all-time classics ("Dancing on My Own" and "Call Your Girlfriend") she did her new single "Dopamine", which is looking less like a one-off and more and more like the start of a rollout for her first album since 2018's Honey.

You can watch that below:

Exhibit A: She also debuted two more new songs at Brooklyn Paramount later the same night under the billing "Robyn and Friends."

Said friends included The Knife's Olof Dreijer, Kindness, Danny Krivit, Dee Diggs, JADALAREIGN, Beaujangless, and ARRA. Robyn appeared during Dreijer's set and helped count down to midnight, then returned for her own headlining show at 1am, which included two new songs, "Talk to Me" (probably not inspired by the horror movie) and the awesomely titled "Sexistential", which Reddit thinks will also be the name of the upcoming album.

The whole set looks like it was pretty dope, and you can view footage of the new songs below:
