Punk stalwarts Rise Against are back with "Nod," a blistering single boasting production courtesy of Catherine Marks and Alan Moulder. Vocalist Tim McIlrath makes this track's purpose – as a comeback – clear right in the chorus: "I swear to God this can't wait/Not one more minute, one more day!" Listen below.

The last full album released by the band, 2021's Nowhere Generation, fell in line with Rise Against's screeds against various injustices plaguing America's youth. "Nod," then, is a welcome addition to the discography. "[Nod is] about the comfort in knowing that we are not alone. This comfort can temper our anger and our frustration, at least temporarily," McIlrath declares.

The band will unleash a tour later this month, covering the United Kingdom and mainland Europe. Papa Roach will then join forces with Rise Against for the upcoming co-headline Rise of the Roach tour.
