Ray Bull, the New York-based duo of Aaron Graham and Tucker Elkins, have announced their new album, Please Stop Laughing, arriving May 8 via AWAL.

Alongside the announcement, they’ve shared the project’s lead single and video, “All That You Are”. Watch below:

In a press release, the band describes “All That You Are” as offering “a dark, complex view of duality.” Elkins elaborates further, explaining the song is sung by “an unreliable narrator who is being an indecisive, hypocritical idiot.” That idea plays out in the track’s chorus: “All that you are is a lot / But not enough for me / So get up off your knees / All that you are is a lot / So throw away the key / Or give it back to me.”

Ray Bull will tour in support of the upcoming LP this spring, with dates to be announced soon.
