Ratboys are back – already! The Chicago indie rock band announced the deluxe version of their sixth album, Singin' to an Empty Chair, which came out earlier this year. The deluxe includes a cover of The Marked Men's "Fix My Brain" along with renditions of Singin' to an Empty Chair tracks by PUP, Ducks Ltd, Bad Bad Hats, Wild Pink, and Free Range. The deluxe is out September 18th on New West Records.

On the band's cover of "Fix My Brain," Steiner said:

"When it came time to choose a cover to perform for our SiriusXM live session earlier this year, it was a no brainer (ha) to finally give this one a go, and it still feels so fun to play it and so hopeful to sing the lyrics about having the guts to admit your mistakes and do better. That sincerity is so badass, and so catchy, and it jives perfectly with what we try to achieve in our own songs."

Ratboys also recently appeared on NPR's Tiny Desk. They performed "Black Earth, WI," "Penny in the Lake" and "What's Right?" Check out the full performance below:
