Radiohead's "Let Down" enters Billboard Hot 100 28 years after release

It seems "Let Down" is no longer underrated.

28 years after its release, the OK Computer track has entered this week’s Billboard Hot 100 at #91, marking Radiohead’s fourth entry on the chart, following “Creep”, “High and Dry”, and “Nude”.

The 1997 song first found new life three years ago after appearing in the season one finale of The Bear. More recently, it’s been popping up on TikTok as the soundtrack for emotional edits from TV and film. Unfortunately, there doesn’t appear to be any sort of viral dance attached to the song, but one might be on the horizon.

Radiohead have ramped up activity in recent months. A couple weeks ago, they surprised fans with a live album of 2003’s Hail to the Thief, and back in March, the band formed a new LLP.
