Radiohead have announced 21 new shows, including residencies in Australia and a residency in Japan. The art rock outfit will be performing four shows at the RAC Arena in Perth, six shows at the Rod Laver Arena in Melbourne, six shows at the Afterpay Arena in Sydney, and five shows at the GMO Arena in Saitama.

This announcement comes after a teaser at this year's Summer Sonic festival in Japan, where the band had coupled the words "Tokyo 2027" on-screen with old Radiohead footage. Only a week later, mysterious billboards began popping up near Miyashita Park in Tokyo, with the phrase "Radiohead 2027" written on them. Unfortunately, no Tokyo dates have been announced, but luckily, Saitama is only a short distance away from there.

This announcement follows Radiohead's European run from last year, which had been the group's first tour in about seven years. There has been no confirmation of any new music on the way, but last August, Radiohead did release Hail to the Thief (Live Recordings 2003-2009). It is unclear what the band will be performing, but it's interesting to note that these tour dates align with the 30th anniversary of their seminal album, OK Computer.
