Ann Arbor, Michigan band Racing Mount Pleasant (FKA Kingfisher) have announced their debut, self-titled album under their new name. Racing Mount Pleasant is out August 15 via R&R.

To coincide with the announcement of the record, the band has released the bold and brassy "Your New Place", the third single released ahead of the album. You can check it out below:

Racing Mount Pleasant will be supporting fellow art-rockers Geese on their Getting Killed tour. Their leg of the tour starts in October and spans across 12 shows through the United States and Canada.
