Queens of the Stone Age have officially announced their new album, Perfecth, following last week's blood-soaked teaser. The record arrives October 30 via Matador.

Perfecth takes its name from a deliberate twist on the word "perfect," coined by frontman Josh Homme. "Nothing in this world is perfect, but everything seems to be 'perfecth'," Homme explained. "And that title is funny when you're in a group, but it ain't so funny when you're alone. "

"Insignificant Other" follows "Easy Street," which arrived last month as the first preview of Perfecth and marked Queens of the Stone Age's first new song in three years. The band's most recent album, In Times New Roman..., was released in 2023, while 2025 saw the addition of a concert film that documented their performance in the Paris Catacombs.

The band will support the album with an arena tour across Australia and Asia this fall, following a run of dates opening for Foo Fighters next month.
