The Britpop legends Pulp announced on Tuesday, April 22nd, that they are embarking on a brief US and Canada tour following up their performances in the UK and Europe later this spring. This announcement coincides with the band announcing a big comeback with their first album in 24 years, More, which is set to be released on June 6th.
Earlier this month, the band announced their studio comeback with the first teaser single for the album, "Spike Island", along with a music video. Last year marked the first time the band had played within North America in over a decade. Now, fans will have the opportunity to catch them live again, if only for a brief time.
The tour announcement was teased earlier when the Hollywood Bowl hinted towards the band's return as the opening act for a pair of LCD Soundsystem shows in late September. But now that the dates have been revealed, the band will start their month-long journey in Atlanta, slowly making their way up the East Coast, before ending with their two Hollywood Bowl gigs.
As of now, the band has not revealed their tour openers, but a fan presale will be live on Wednesday, April 23rd at 10 am local time. The band's new album, More, will be released on June 6th via Rough Trade. You can pre-order the album here.
