Prince's house from Purple Rain is becoming an Airbnb

The Minneapolis house from Purple Rain, the classic 1984 film and album by the late, legendary Prince and his band The Revolution is now becoming an Airbnb, restored by Prince's bandmates from The Revolution: Wendy Melvoin and Lisa Coleman. Wendy and Lisa are opening up this historical house to the public to celebrate the film's 40th anniversary.

Wendy and Lisa are filling the house will all sorts of Prince memorabilia from this era, featuring a chance for guests to listen to Prince's tape collection and a look at his iconic outfits he wore.

"The place is jammed with epic memorabilia that will give u a rare perspective into Prince’s creative process during his Purple Rain era—through the eyes of two people who lived through it (us!). And what’s a better way to crawl inside his head than listening to Prince’s personal tape collection, seeing the actual outfits he wore, and smelling his curated scent bar featuring his favorite perfumes? That, and ungodly amounts of ’80s nostalgia. You’re welcome."

The listing on Airbnb also adds that there's a spa decorated as a tribute to the "When Doves Cry" video. "Clawfoot tub? Check. Stained glass windows? Double check. Throw in a plush purple robe, a soothing face mask, and some lavender bath bombs into the mix, and you’re golden" says the listing. There's also a "muse lounge" with instruments that will show people how to play or sing "Purple Rain" on an app.

The listing also mentions that there's a "secret space" that's the "best part" of the house. Unlocked by a secret door, guests will have to follow seven clues to find the entrance of this room that "will lead to a world of never-ending happiness."

The house will be available for 25 total one-night stays, from October 26th to December 14th. It holds up to four guests, with each guest paying $7 for entry, which was Prince's favorite number. Here are some photos of the house on the inside:
