plus44Kaligula, the project of Manchester-based artist, producer, and composer Cally Statham, has announced their debut EP Double Blind. It arrives on September 3 via Before Babel Records.
This announcement coincides with a new song called "Home", plus a video directed by Paris Seawell, which you can watch below:
Statham on what inspired "Home":
“I offer a dirge for us caught trapped by the machinery of unregulated Capitalism— the current name for an ancient morbid beast through time which actively prevents solidarity and change. We are not new, but one of myriad iterations of the same pyramid cloaked in ‘Progress’. We wander confused, asking not whether AI might save us, but whether we deserve saving at all."
Double Blind was recorded and self-produced by Statham with contributions from legendary music producer John Merchant (Michael Jackson, Mika, Barbara Striesand, Celine Dion) and additional mixing & mastering by Chris Pawlusek (Evian Christ, Bladee, Genesys, Baby Pantera, HUSSY).
plus44Kaligula also hosts NTS radio show 'Just A Thought', which you can check out here.

Double Blind is out September 3. Pre-order here. Tracklist:
