After a small stint of releasing music on his side account @opium_00pium and YouTube late last year and earlier this year, rapper Playboi Carti has come out of hiding again to tease I AM MUSIC.
Earlier today, a video was posted to @opium_00pium of a man with a British accent declaring a new Playboi Carti announcement would drop at 9:30 PM EDT.
Around 9:43 PM EDT, Playboi Carti posted to his main account directing viewers to his website about new merch bundles for I AM MUSIC, consisting of a vinyl and a shirt, hoodie, or hat depending on the bundle selected.
His website states the following regarding the album's release date and the merch bundle's shipping date:
Ships on: April 18, 2025
Limited to 4 per customer.
Album release date to be announced.
Product will ship no later than six months from September 12, 2024.
Around 7:38 PM EDT, @opium_00pium posted about the unreleased Playboi Carti song, "ALL RED".
Around 12 AM EDT, "ALL RED" was officially released.
Playboi Carti will be performing at ComplexCon and Rolling Loud Miami later this year.
