Playboi Carti has fired back at Ye (formerly known as Kanye West) following a case of unauthorized sampling.
Earlier today, Ye dropped the track "ALIVE" with NBA Youngboy, which features a sample from Carti's song "Crank" off I AM MUSIC. Fans believed that this was his way of amending their relationship, as the two had been beefing for the past few weeks.
Carti apparently never approved the use of the sample, and subsequently released his own version of the song, complete with Youngboy's verse too. It appears that this was a song that both Ye and Carti were working on prior to their falling out, and Ye released it without his permission. Carti included the following caption:
DIS MY SONG LIL BRA @ye
