Punk rock band Green Day famously calls back to their Bay Area roots as frequently as possible. Frontman Billie Joe Armstrong couldn't be prouder to be from Rodeo, a Bay Area suburb. And now, he returns to the venue that started it all: 924 Gilman St. with his project Pinhead Gunpowder on November 6.
The show was announced this morning via the venue's Instagram page. The post states:

The intimate venue and hometown energy will surely make this a memorable show. Billie Joe Armstrong has not appeared at the venue since March 15, 2015, when Green Day made a surprise appearance at a benefit event.
It is advised that locals arrive at the venue as soon as possible, since tickets are expected to sell out quickly. 924 Gilman St. has a capacity of approximately 300 and is celebrating its 40th birthday this year.
