Pop starlet Olivia Rodrigo hosted Saturday Night Live for the first time Saturday, performing two songs from her upcoming third album You Seem Pretty Sad For a Girl So in Love, and parodying her No. 1 hit "Driver's License," among other highlights.

Pulling double duty as both host and musical guest, the 23-year-old singer and actress participated in a number of sketches and performed her latest single "drop dead" and a new song called "begged" featuring Weyes Blood.

During her opening monologue, she plugged her forthcoming album and performed a short parody of her hit "Driver's License" between jokes and a jab at former Bizaardvark co-star Jake Paul.

“You know, a lot has changed for me since my first single ‘Drivers License,’ which was about the biggest event in my life when I was a teenager. And now that I’m older, I decided to write a new song about the most recent big event in my adult life, and I really hope it speaks to you,” she said before singing the parody.

You Seem Pretty Sad For a Girl So in Love is due out June 12 via Geffen Records. Produced by longtime collaborator Dan Nigro, the album is said to be sonically diverse and a departure from her previous efforts.

Rodrigo released the album's first single, "drop dead," April 17 on a variety of analogue and digital formats, including 7-inch vinyl and cassette.

Last week, Rodrigo announced the Unraveled Tour, a worldwide run in support of her album that will feature four-night residencies in London, New York City, and Los Angeles, with Grace Ives, the Last Dinner Party, and Wolf Alice opening on select dates.
