Official cover for Juice WRLD’s ‘The Party Never Ends’ unveiled a week ahead of album’s release

A few days ago, the release date for Juice WRLD’s fifth studio (third posthumous) and final album, The Party Never Ends, had been pushed back to 29 November. Now, 1 week before it drops via Grade A Productions, the official cover art and trailer have been unveiled.

The Steve Cannon-directed trailer sets us in the near future, where a grandfather teaches his grandchildren about “the legend of Juice WRLD,” taking a look back at the late Chicago rapper’s discography, including a mention of his final and upcoming LP, The Party Never Ends. You can watch the trailer below:

The album cover was created by Takashi Murakami, also known for being the mastermind behind the covers of Kanye Wests’ Graduation and the self-titled debut album from West and Kid Cudi’s hip-hop duo KIDS SEE GHOSTS.

Along with the trailer release, Lil Bibby has dedicated a few words to the rapper on his Instagram page:

“Been 5 years kid, still missing you down here… Feels like yesterday you were down here cracking ya corny jokes. Your fans still miss you, still getting on my nerves everyday. One of them just told me that I had a penthouse in hell waiting for me 😂. Other than that the album is amazing, and it’s crazy to see that these kids still want more from you after 1000 leaks and hours of footage. Thank you, and your crazy fans for everything, Hope yall enjoy this Last Album! 999 for Life!!!”

The reception appears to be lackluster, with some fans respecting the artist's legacy, but admitting that the cover is not to their taste. "Legendary artist, but seriously?" one user said about the art.
