UK alt-pop maximalists Nova Twins have dropped a new track, titled "Monsters". It's the first glimpse of a new, not yet officially announced recording project, coming out via Marshall Records.

Nova Twins also commented on the song in the press release:

"'Monsters’ is about awakening to and understanding your mental health. Growing up, we often look outward, absorbing what life throws at us. Over time, the good and bad experiences start to settle. Before learning to navigate these feelings, you may face self-loathing, anxiety and a fear of who you've become. Confronting these emotions, breathing through them, and opening up to someone can help. Many people struggle with mental health, and this song aims to show vulnerability and let our audience know they’re not alone.”

Over the past few years, the duo of Amy Love and Georgia South have been turnings plenty of heads, earning both Mercury Music Prize and BRIT Award nominations, and collaborating with artists as wide-ranging as Bring Me The Horizon and Tsar B. They have also performed support slots for big names like Muse and Foo Fighters.

Nova Twins have used their own burgeoning fame to fight the good fight within the industry itself, launching projects that help boost marginalized voices in music. With backing from Dr. Martens Presents, they've spearheaded a compilation project called Voices For The Unheard – featuring Big Joanie, Connie Constance, and Oxymorrons – that amplifies the voices of POC artists. They also opened up a scholarship with ICMP back in 2023.

When the new recording project will officially be announced is as of yet unknown.

Nova Twins have a hefty chunk of their 2025 touring schedule mapped out, including supporting rock legend Lenny Kravitz in March.
