Brooklyn-based rapper Niontay has announced his new album Fada<3of$ to be released April 25 via MIKE's 10k label.

The rapper has been bubbling up for the past couple of years, with his debut record Dontay's Inferno, bass-thumping posse cuts, and features with some of indie rap's greatest. His latest single "Mumbleman" is a breathy exercise over microsound production, floating and buzzing over bitcrushed ambiance. Watch its music video, shot CCTV-style, here:

In a statement about the upcoming album, Niontay describes his process while making the record.

"The initial name for the tape was 2009 (shoutout my bradda Pretty V) that being the year my Ole boy passed, it completely changed my life. Same way I feel this album will, in a much more positive light. Death sucks but we gotta learn to celebrate it and send our loved ones off properly with love. That’s all I’m doing with this music, still tryna have fun and carry my Ole boy’s name and legacy on to the furthest extent despite the 'reality' of the situation."

Fada<3of$ will feature Mavi, Sideshow, El Cousteau, Jadasea, Dav1d, and Lil Peanutbutter. The tape will also have a star-studded lineup of producer credits, including Tony Seltzer, DJ Blackpower (MIKE's producer alter ego), and SURF GANG’s Harrison. His single "Vicegrip" from last year will also be on the upcoming record.
