The lineup for this year's New England Metal & Hardcore Festival has been announced, with deathcore darlings Lorna Shore headlining over Cannibal Corpse, one of the most famous death metal bands of all time.

Resurrected in 2023, the iconic metal festival is set to return September 20 at the Palladium Outdoors in Worcester, Massachusetts.

Aside from not booking Cannibal Corpse as the headliner, the one-day event looks to pack a punch with the classic lineup of Bury Your Dead performing their final show ever, as well as the return of heavy hitters The Black Dahlia Murder, Madball, Municipal Waste, and others.

NEMHF co-founder Scott Lee had this to say about the festival's format:

"We've done this fest over a bunch of formats through the years — two days, three days, you name it," says co-founder Scott Lee. "This time, it's one day, but we didn't cut corners. This lineup is stacked from top to bottom. We're bringing you the best of the best. All gas, no brakes. Weeeeeee."
