The one-year anniversary of Charli XCX's Brat is nigh, an album that everyone from Pitchfork to the usually-uncool Grammys has honored as a classic (though almost none did so before the proprietor of this here site gave it a rare perfect 10). Since she's also arguably the artist most known for partying since LMFAO if not Andrew W.K., fans have reason to speculate she will be dropping something to celebrate.
As of now, only a couple party favors have trickled out: familiar green billboards popping up in Brooklyn (see above) and London (below). And then there's snippets of original demos from four Brat highlights on Charli's own private 360_brat Instagram page, which is hilariously, arbitrarily selective about follow requests it accepts. For those hating from outside the club, those demo snippets of "360," "Von Dutch," "Sympathy Is a Knife," and "Club Classics" can be heard at this Soundcloud link (for now, anyway). If more festivities or Easter eggs are on the way, Brat Summer may rise again.
