My Brightest Diamond announces new album, shares new single

Shara Nova has announced her sixth studio record as My Brightest Diamond, Fight the Real Terror, and it's out 9/13 on Western Vinyl. With it, she has shared the album's first single, "Have You Ever Seen An Angel". Listen below:

Inspired - or at least said to be incited - by the untimely passing of Sinead O'Connor, Fight the Real Terror is Nova's first My Brightest Diamond album since 2018's A Million and One, but she has stayed very busy in the interim, working on various collaborations with orchestras (like her Grammy-nominated work with Rachel Grimes, Angélica Negrón, Caroline Shaw, Sarah Kirkland Snider, and A Far Cry on The Blue Hour), working on music and opera scores, and even appearing on Broadway in the stage adaptation of Sufjan Stevens's Illinoise (she appeared on the original album, too).

You can find more info on the My Brightest Diamond site, and you can preorder the forthcoming album here.
