For the first time since 2018, My Bloody Valentine is returning to the stage for live shows. But before they could take the stage at 3Arena in Dublin for their first advertised show back, Kevin Shields and company played a "secret" show at the National Stadium in Dublin, Ireland, to warm things back up with a 17-song, career-spanning set.
Billed as Isn’t Anything, according to Brooklyn Vegan, MBV delivered the hits for fans who were privy to the band's 1988 album title, and even delivered a few surprises, including the live debut of the 1990 song "Off Your Face", which originally appeared on the Glider EP.
After playing through old hits like "When You Sleep", newer songs from 2013 album MBV like "new you", and even deep cuts like, "Honey Power", My Bloody Valentine will continue on a short tour of the United Kingdom before heading to Japan in February, and before their lone mainland Europe show announced so far at Barcelona Primavera Sound.
