Mogwai release new track, announce 2025 world tour

Scottish post-rock band Mogwai are back with "God Gets You Back", a brand new standalone single. This is the band's first new music since 2022's "Boltfor", which was a non-album single from the sessions that produced the band's last album, As the Love Continues, from 2021.

Is it also the band's first new music since being the subjects of a new documentary on the band, Mogwai: If the Stars Had a Sound, directed by Antony Crook, which chronicled the recording of that album.

The song comes along with a video directed by Hand Held Cine Club. Watch/listen here:

In addition to this new song, Mogwai have announced plans to embark on a massive 2025 world tour. Starting in Europe, swinging through Asia, and landing in the US, the tour will stretch from February to May. Tickets will go on sale September 18. Find all the dates below.
