Indie stalwarts Modest Mouse have returned with a brand new single – their first new music in over five years. It follows 2021's The Golden Casket, and is also accompanied by new tour dates for the summer.

The track lasts less than two minutes, but includes commentary on "human progress," such as "Look how far we haven't come / oh my god we’re so fucking dumb."

The group has also added more than 10 dates to their North American summer tour, with added stops in Philadelphia, Milkwaukee, and more, including some festivals in San Fransisco, Saskatchewan, and Alaska.
