Inflation is everywhere, and yes, even Modest Mouse have opted to go bankrupt on selling... the selling of vintage gear on Reverb, to be precise.

The tally of over 500 objects includes several Moog synths, a Korg drum machine, and some Sovjet-era equipment. In a YouTube video for Reverb, Isaac Brock chalks the decision up to "option fatigue," as a result of hoarding too much gear. "Someone else can do better shit with these things than I can," he states.

Watch the full video below:

Brock commented further on his compulsive hoarding days in the video, and some of the reasoning behind "buying every shitty drum machine I could possibly find.”

“I could just take it back or resell it, but then I wouldn’t do that—I would be like, eh—you’ll have a purpose someday. I’d kind of panic that if I didn’t have a whole bunch of new gadgets and tools to work with, I was gonna make the same songs.”

The big sale starts on September 5th, so those who want to call dibs on an instrument once used – or neglected – by the Issaquah, Washington indie legends, now's your chance.

Gearheads can rejoice and head up to the shop here.

There isn't just musical things to be snagged, but some odd paraphernalia as well. Who, for instance, has use for some stadium seats from a 1956 Elvis concert?
