Over the weekend, Mitski wiped her Instagram clean, a now-familiar indication that an artist is gearing up to release a new album. Shortly after clearing her posts, she shared a clip of herself walking through a cluttered kitchen, quietly humming what seems to be a new song.
Pushing the cryptic rollout even further, the singer — whose most recent full-length LP was 2023’s The Land Is Inhospitable and So Are We — added a link in her bio directing fans to wheresmyphone.net. The site’s homepage reads “MITSKI Where’s My Phone?” alongside a phone number. The other half of the page features a looping video of an iPhone lock screen, seemingly displaying text messages and missed calls from fans in real time.
Calling the number greets listeners with a voicemail message: “Hi. It’s Mitski, you’ve reached the Tansy House. No one can come to the phone right now, but please leave a message at the beep.” Those who contact the number can also enter their phone number on a form to receive future updates.

While no new music has officially been confirmed, clearly, Mitski is cooking up something.
