Miley Cyrus releases video for new song “Prelude”, from forthcoming visual album ‘Something Beautiful’

Miley Cyrus has shared the “Prelude” from her upcoming album, Something Beautiful, due out May 30 via Columbia.

The new spoken-word track – with production credits from executive producers Cyrus and Shawn Everett, as well as Michael Pollack, Jonathan Rado, and Maxx Morando – is the first taste of the 13-song LP, and arrives alongside a visual directed by the “Flowers” singer herself, Jacob Bixenman, and Brendan Walter, with cinematography held by Benoît Debie. Watch it below:

Her ninth studio album, the follow-up to 2023's Grammy-nominated Endless Summer Vacation, is a rock opera that comes with a film inspired by Pink Floyd’s 1971 classic The Wall, and its Roger Waters-written picture based on it. It's set for release sometime in June, as announced in its first trailer last week.
