Miley Cyrus has reached a major milestone with her "Flowers" music video, which recently surpassed one billion views on YouTube. This makes it her fourth video to achieve this feat, joining the ranks of her 2013 hits "Wrecking Ball" and "23" (with Mike WiLL Made-It, Wiz Khalifa, and Juicy J), as well as her 2009 smash "Party In the U.S.A."
The Jacob Bixenman-directed video for "Flowers" features Cyrus in a golden gown, as she confidently walks through a city street and into a lavish mansion. The visuals have her dancing and taking charge of her own happiness, embodying the feeling of empowerment and self-love that the track is written about.
The song, widely believed to be about her ex-husband Liam Hemsworth, appeared on Cyrus' 2023 album Endless Summer Vacation, which reached No. 3 on the Billboard 200. "Flowers" also dominated the Billboard Hot 100, staying at No. 1 for eight weeks.
Also of note, the track earned Cyrus her first two Grammys, winning Best Pop Solo Performance and Record of the Year in 2024.
Now, go buy yourself more flowers, Miley.
