Pop artist Miley (formerly Miley Cyrus) has announced a new album today titled Bass Persuades. Out September 18 via Atlantic, this will be the first album under the new alias Miley.

Miley spoke about the meaning of her new album title on X saying "Music takes hold of us. We feel it, sing it, sometimes dance to it, let it out and carry on. It is powerful, vulnerable, sweet and strong. Heart full, heartache, every part of life in between. That's what the title means to me."

Miley has announced two shows at the Hollywood Bowl on October 16 and 18 to promote the album with Model/Actriz as openers (who are also featured on the new record). Tickets are available on her website.
