MIKE and Earl Sweatshirt to release double LP with Surf Gang

It was already known that MIKE had an upcoming project with NYC hip-hop collective Surf Gang. Today, we have learned that Earl Sweatshirt is also part of the record. The double LP, POMPEII/UTILITY, is out on April 3rd.

Listen to its smooth first two singles, "Minty" and "Earth", below.

The 33-track album is divided between MIKE and Earl, with the New York rapper handling the first 15 songs and the former Odd Future alum the last 18. Also, MIKE is featured one time as a guest on Earl's side of the tracklist, and vice-versa.

According to The FADER, most of the production on the album is handled by Surf Gang's Harrison, who has worked previously with MIKE on last year's Showbiz!

The tracklist features figures from all over underground hip-hop, including British rapper Jadasea, New York singer Anysia Kym, frequent MIKE collaborator Niontay, and more. Check out the full tracklist down below.

The album and single art is by Los Angeles ceramic artist Sharif Farrag.
