French artist Melody's Echo Chamber — the moniker of musician Melody Prochet — has announced the impending release of her fourth studio album, Unclouded, due out December 5 via Domino.
The news arrives alongside the release of the album's debut single "In The Stars", which is said to "a song of perfect balances, from the close harmonies from Melody to the scintillating interaction between the guitar and strings."
Check out the visualizer below:
The album title is inspired by a quote from Japanese animator Hayao Miyazaki about achieving equilibrium: "You must see with eyes unclouded by hate. See the good in that which is evil, and the evil in that which is good. Pledge yourself to neither side.”
Prochet goes on to say:
“The music I create usually inhabits the liminal zone between realism and fables. But the more experience I have of living, the deeper I love life and the less I need to escape. If my heart still belongs to the blue hour, it also feels like I’ve gathered up all the pieces of myself that were scattered everywhere and glued them together with gold like Japanese kintsugi.”
