Far be it from us to understand the motivations of billionaires, especially lately. But Meta CEO/Facebook co-founder Mark Zuckerberg's taste in pop idols apparently runs a little less dark than, say, Trent Reznor, who once scored the Oscar-worthy David Fincher fictionalization The Social Network. It's a fertile time for pop royalty, as the surprisingly satisfying 2025 Grammys showed, but Zuckerberg's set his sights on one Benson Boone (who admittedly held his own at said Grammys). The mogul and the "Beautiful Things" singer have complimented and commented on each other's social media. They have taken their unlikely bond to the next level by staging a sword fight.
And now, this week, Zuckerberg moved one step closer to wearing Boone's skinsuit. Well, his jumpsuit, anyway. At his wife Dr. Priscilla Chan's 40th birthday party Monday night, the Meta CEO apparently removed his formal wear to reveal Boone's own costumery — one of the singer's glittery, Freddie Mercury-style getups — in front of a live band. Zuckerboone danced, pranced, presumably sang (the audio in the Instagram reel is not live from the video), and cosplayed rock stardom in front of his wife and even guests. They're just like us! He does throw his all into the stage moves, though a real Benson Boone clone would've graced the audience with at least one backflip.
