For the first time since their disbandment in 2015, Philly emo pioneers Marietta are set to reunite at Best Friends Forever festival this October.

The Las Vegas emo-centric music festival will be held at the Downtown Las Vegas Events Center from October 10th-12th. Other notable acts include Rilo Kiley (as part of their own reunion tour), Superchunk, Tigers Jaw and Wednesday (one of their first announced shows without MJ Lenderman).

The band remarked on X (formerly Twitter) that they need help remembering how to play "Fuck, Dantooine Is Big" off their debut record Summer Death, crowdsourcing their followers for guitar tabs.

Whether Marietta's reunion will expand past this festival date is yet to be known, but the band has been particularly active on social media in recent weeks, including the creation of a new Instagram account.
