One of the buzziest UK bands around, London-based sextet Man/Woman/Chainsaw, follow up last November's debut EP Eazy Peazy with the first track from an upcoming double A-side 7" single via So Young Records (release date TBA).
Listen to "Adam & Steve" below:
Recorded with producers Seth Evans (Geordie Greep, HMTLD) and Margo Broom (Chemtrails, Big Joanie) at RAK Studios in London, "Adam & Steve" is described by the band's Billy Ward as a "bittersweet take on the heart-on-sleeve love song" that "comes from a place of wanting to find a little fairy tale escapism in modern romance."
The track features verses traded between Ward and co-vocalist Vera Leppänen, and finds Man/Woman/Chainsaw relaxing into a more melodic space, while still leaving room for plenty of noise. As Ward says in an accompanying press release, "We thrive on the thin line between pretty and noisy, often trying to jump between the two – it’s that chaos that excites us."
Having already played over 100 shows since forming the band as teenagers, Man/Woman/Chainsaw continue their quest to visit every city and town under the sun with an extensive run of headline shows and festival dates taking them through to November.
