Magdalena Bay’s 'Imaginal Disk' movie will premiere this June at the 2026 Tribeca Festival

The 25th Tribeca Film Festival has shared its line-up with all upcoming films, documentaries, performances, and more taking place from 3-14 June in New York City, including the previously announced Imaginal Disk movie by Magdalena Bay.

You can check the festival’s schedule here. Imaginal Disk will have its World Premiere on Thursday, June 4, at 8:30pm local time at Spring Studios. After the premiere, there will be a “special stripped-back performance from Magdalena Bay and a discussion with Amanda Kramer."

The feature is directed by Kramer, who also took the director’s seat for the “Death & Romance,” “Image,” and “That’s My Floor” music videos — which the synth-pop duo wrote and edited (and the upcoming film as well).

Per the festival’s description, the picture is “a cinematic companion to Magdalena Bay's eponymous album, Imaginal Disk expands its kaleidoscopic world into a bold, visually driven narrative.”

Along with the announcement, Magdalena Bay have shared stills from the upcoming movie. Check that and the trailer below:
