More than 25 years on from its conception as a remix collection companion to Madonna's blockbuster album Ray of Light, Veronica Electronica is finally coming to fruition.
Out July 25, the collection pulls together seven rare and unreleased remixes of songs from Ray of Light, plus a previously unheard demo of album outtake "Gone, Gone, Gone", produced by Madonna and Rick Nowels. Collaborators on the project include Peter Rauhofer, William Orbit, Sasha, BT, and Victor Calderone.
The first track to emerge is a long-awaited official release of “Skin (The Collaboration Remix Edit)” – listen below:
Madonna recently confirmed that she is working on a sequel to her 2005 album Confessions on a Dance Floor, with original producer Stuart Price. She has also partnered with Netflix to produce a limited series based on her life.
