Two of the biggest artists in the modern underground rap scene, Lucki and Destroy Lonely, just sent shots at each other through several Tweets and Instagram Lives.
This beef between the two artists became public a few months prior, following an ex-girlfriend of Destroy Lonely claiming the Opium artist once choked her over an argument about Lucki. In a recent Instagram Live, Destroy Lonely further leaned into this feud, playing a snippet of a new song containing the line "I done surpassed my favorite rappers, guess I'm lucky."
This snippet resulted in Lucki finally making a response to Destroy Lonely in the form of his own Instagram Live where he implored his fellow artist to stop the dissing, while also responding to the specific line about him saying, "They say they surpassed me but, like, you're signed to somebody, I don't think you've surpassed yourself yet."
Later in the live, Lucki also says things like, "Y'all paint your nails and wear dresses sometimes, how do you want to be a street n***a now?" and "I'm actually the n***a that used to come around, bring my friends from the hood, and scare y'all."
Destroy Lonely responded to both of these statements specifically in a follow-up tweet, writing, "Boy u ain’t never seen me in no dress and u damn sure ain’t never scare me."
Lucki was quick to respond.
As of this writing, no further communication between the two has been made public.
