Never let it be said that Little Simz takes herself too seriously. On her latest single "Young" she dips fully into character work, imagining the very British life of a brassy older woman and lives it out through a hilarious new video by in-demand US director Dave Meyers. Their previous collaboration, for 2023's "Gorilla", has more than 10 million views on YouTube and won a bunch of international awards.

"It’s just a moment of light heartedness," says Simz of the new track, the third single to be taken from her sixth album Lotus, which drops 6 June via AWAL.

In addition to a small warm-up show and her closing night appearance at London's Meltdown Festival (which she also curated) on 22 June, Simz has two UK arena dates lined up for October. Tickets for those – her biggest live shows to date – are on sale now. She also plays Sziget Festival in Budapest on 6 August. Full list of dates below:
