This morning, Linkin Park posted a new logo on their social media pages. Accompanied with the description, "Be part of something. September 5th.", the post directs users to their website.

The website features a YouTube video of a timer counting up; earlier this week, the band posted a YouTube video of a timer counting down 100 hours, culminating on 11:15am PST before counting up. The title of the video is "ø", which fans have speculated is related to Linkin Park's original name, Xero.
Members of Linkin Park Underground with a valid Passport Plus membership reported getting an email concerning tickets for an in-person Los Angeles event on September 5th from 12:30pm-5:30pm PST. Tickets will not be transferable and only available to fans 18 and over.
Adam Ruehmer, Linkin Park's digital marketing manager from 2008-2013, additionally took to Twitter to announce his return to Linkin Park. Ruehmer had been previously working for Warner Music Group.

Linkin Park's last in-person event was the "Linkin Park and Friends: Celebrate Life in Honor of Chester Bennington" tribute concert at the Hollywood Bowl on October 27th, 2017, held in honor of lead singer Chester Bennington's passing on July 20th earlier that year.
