Hot on the heels of her return to music with her first album in seven years, West End Girl, Prime Video has announced a feature-length documentary about Lily Allen.

The official synopsis says the feature will be a retrospective of her career until now:

“From the 'Queen of MySpace' who changed the rules of the music industry, to the cultural force she is today. As a pioneering woman in modern music, Lily's sharp wit and candid storytelling directly paved the way for a generation of today's biggest female artists.”

The doc is helmed by award-winning director Mat Whitecross (Oasis: Supersonic, Coldplay: A Head Full of Dreams). It will include “interviews with those who know her best” and build a “rich and revealing portrait of an artist defined by her creative fearlessness.”

It is co-produced by Magna Studios (which is producing the upcoming Oasis feature Don’t Look Back in Anger) and Mint Studios. The movie will be released on Prime Video in 2027, and Altitude will handle the global theatrical release and home entertainment rights worldwide.
