Lil Yachty has taken a lot of heat in the last 24 hours between a post claiming former Concrete Boys artist Karrahbooo said she was kicked out and bullied by fellow members like Yachty, and a viral clip from Yachty's A Safe Place podcast leading many across social media to claim he had disrespected his co-host, producer MitchGoneMad. The Lil Boat artist recently went on Instagram Live to address everything.
"If you wanna tell this shit, tell the whole story. Go ahead and tell people how you verbally abuse people," Yachty said, addressing Karrahbooo early on in the IG Live.
Shortly before Yachty's IG Live, a tweet from a Karrahbooo fan gained traction when she claimed Karrahbooo told her that she hadn't left Concrete Boys as was initially widely reported, but that she was actually kicked out after being bullied by other members of the group. Lil Yachty is saying that the opposite is the real truth of the story.
"You talk to people like they're nothing," Yachty went on to say, "You talk to people like they're small, like they're beneath you."
Yachty also claims that Karrahbooo's "career is over" after her departure from Concrete Boys due to Lil Yachty being the primary songwriter for all of her material, a point he later reinforced by leaking the reference track for Karrahbooo's popular verse in the On The Radar Concrete Cypher.
Lil Yachty moves on from Karrahbooo later in the IG Live to address the controversy from the most recent episode of A Safe Place podcast, in which Lil Yachty questions where Mitch would be in life if the two weren't friends, implying at least some of Mitch's success is the result of the two's relationship.
Yachty's response to the backlash from the episode is to cancel A Safe Place and publicly state his anger at Mitch over not clearing the air amidst all the online drama. "Fuck the podcast. Fuck you," Yachty declared.
Neither Mitch nor Karrahbooo have responded to Yachty's comments as of writing this.
