Lil Uzi Vert was rushed to the hospital in Lower Manhattan earlier this week. According to TMZ, paramedics were called to assist after a report of a “sick person” in need of help. Vert was taken to the hospital and spent the night and following day there.

No official statement has been released from Vert’s team. However, Ye took to X — formerly known as Kanye West and Twitter — to share a screenshot of a text thread with producer Digital Nas, who appears to be receiving updates from Vert’s cousin. In the exchange, Digital Nas says, “Theyre saying he’s [sic] just dehydertated but ik there’s more to it.” He later adds, “uzis okay,” which may offer fans some relief, though it remains difficult to verify information when it's coming from Ye.

This post comes in the same week Ye made several other headlines — claiming that Kendrick Lamar can’t rap, calling Tyler the Creator overrated, and releasing a new single titled "Cousins", which centers on childhood trauma and an incestuous relationship between him and his cousin when they were kids.
